Well, leaving for Dr. Hauser's office in a bit. I'm not worried like last time now that I know what to expect. Now I'm just hoping that he sees signs of improvement, and if not then I guess we'll step it up to PRP injections. Either way, I'm excited. I really hope this does heal my labrum, it would be fantastic.

Hi Adam,
have been by your blog on a few occasions. Mostly cause it is the top hit in google, when searching for crossfit and hip impingement.
Have read your blog posts on the subject, but would interested (if you have time), to hear how your hip is doing now, and what your recovery time was?
And also where the impingement was? front or side?
Short history of me:
Have had lower back pain / leg pain / hip pain for 5-6 years. Been to 20+ doctors for it, but no diagnosis. Except: "you are young, just learn to live with it". Around 8-9 months ago, I slipped my L5-S1 disc (after many days of WOD's), and was in pain for a long time after that. This lead me to a very good physiotherapist, who said that I might have impingement, and that could have been what cause all of the above (cause of overcompensation in the hip for lack of flexibility).
So scheduled for surgery the 25th, and of course hoping that everything will go well, and also that I one day can crossfit again.
So anything you can share on the subject, would be very appreciated. :-)
Thank you.
You can either reply to this thread, or find me on Facebok "Terje Mose Pedersen".
