I'm still going to try to finish this thing with Dr. Fullerton, just because I keep seeing so much improvement after each treatment, but I am looking into Mr. Hesch and will see if this will be a good idea.

When I first started out and saw a DO he would regularly find my SI joint out of whack but the joint quickly learned where it was supposed to be and then started staying that way. FYIW feel like I should mention that.

You are not the first to comment on this blog about how I'm stuck in a left AIC pattern, and I hope that will be fixed soon. I've seen a rolfer and everything just snaps back to the way to the pattern after a short while. Not saying rolfing is the same as what Mr. Hesch does, I just want to explain why I'm hesitant to return to soft tissue manipulation right now.

I am hoping that the repairs to the structural damage to my muscles and ligaments will be the first step. I am planning on seeing a chiro or rolfer or whatever once my body is no longer damaged like it is.

It's funny you mention the C1, I have had issues with it in the past, and it's probably back to it's old ways. You have a good eye, color me impressed.

I guess my whole point here is that I think I'm going to see this PRP through because I'm seeing real results/improvements right now and I believe a lot of the compensating that is going on in my body right now is due to all the structural damage. This is why the PT guy that practiced PRI couldn't get my body to work correctly. After I get that fixed, then I plan to get everything moving correctly.

I recognize I may be wrong, I've been wrong plenty of times before, but I am seeing such good results right now I am not planning to stop with the PRP.

If I may be so bold, what were your injuries?

Again, thank you for the advice for reading my blog. I am looking into Mr. Hesch right now.

AdamAdamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04318297780204597472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361162699865446776.post-20887371880962091842014-08-15T12:01:03.421-04:002014-08-15T12:01:03.421-04:00I'd bet a thousand dollars you are actually su...I'd bet a thousand dollars you are actually suffering from SIJD or Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction. It short your SI Joint is stuck outta alignment and your pelvis is twisted, causing everything connected to it like the hips and the spine all the way up to the head to compensated and twist causing all the muscle compensations for the twisted pelvis.
You might also have something going on with your ATLAS vertebrae (C1). See a real Atlas Orthoganal chiro for that.

For the SIJD go see Jerry Hesch in Henderson, Nevada its right outside Vegas. He is the very best in the country.

How do I know this because I was in the exact same boat as you with even worse injuries actually. I looked at your photos and its pretty easy to see your pelvis distortion, high left hip and shoulder, low right hip and shoulder. Looks like your stuck in a Left AIC pattern.

I was on the Peeling back the layers of the onion kick and never ending prolo and prp treatments, its literally never ending.

If your pelvis and sij is your body's foundation and primary fulcrum point, if your foundation is off nothing from your toes to your head will be right, everything will have to compensate.

You've traveled the country and spent a shitload trying to heal.

Go see the right people to tright the root issue and you'll get better. good luckAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361162699865446776.post-70264639429178848732014-06-04T12:23:13.525-04:002014-06-04T12:23:13.525-04:00I do plan on going back to see the rolfer here in ...I do plan on going back to see the rolfer here in dallas, but my plan is to see him once I'm done with all this PRP. I figure seeing a rolfer while my body is changing won't be as effective as seeing one after all of my muscles/ligaments/cartilage have healed.Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04318297780204597472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361162699865446776.post-59997855678877217812014-06-04T11:43:35.094-04:002014-06-04T11:43:35.094-04:00First of all thanks for your interest and comments...First of all thanks for your interest and comments, I'm glad some one out there is finding my story an interesting read.

It's interesting you mention all these issues because about six years ago I saw a Doctor of Osteopath for a time and he saw and fixed my twisted pelvis and out of joint SI (among other things). After a month or two of seeing him these issues seemed to go away, though I saw him about once every two months for about a year or two.

Also about a six months ago I finished seeing a rolfer, and although that provided some temporary relief it seems it did not fix the fact that I have some damaged muscles. I guess the muscles want to stay tight no matter what you tell them. This is why I seem to be having lasting success with the PRP, it's addressing the root cause of the problem, as opposed to the symptoms (in my case) like PRI.

When I saw the rolfer he didn't mention anything wrong with a twisted pelvis or an out of whack SI joint, though he may have found them and just not mentioned it. He did mention some tight hip muscles, like my right TFL and when he worked my left psoas it really improved my gait (for a week). I think if he were to work on my psoas now though the treatment would last a lot longer now that my left hip capsule is more structurally sound and thus the psoas doesn't need to tighten to keep things stable.

Again, really appreciate your comments, and any other insight you may have.Adamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04318297780204597472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361162699865446776.post-28179512355176839952014-06-04T09:17:29.372-04:002014-06-04T09:17:29.372-04:00The more I read your story the more I notice that ...The more I read your story the more I notice that your are talking about and displaying classic typical signs of a pelvic asymmetry, and low right shoulder. Your QL spasms, piriformis, and high left hip scream out that your left ilium and si joint are outta whack and you are probably stuck in a left aic pattern. Ive dealt with this same problems to, its a never ending circle jerk until you deal will he pelvis and si joint issue. Seek out a PT whonwas trained by the Postural Restoration Institute and has pelvis a sij experience. Just never let anyone using forceful chiro-like popping techniques on the si joint, stick to safer muscles energy techniques and low grade gentle joint mobilizations. Look up don tignys si joint page, the 45 degree partner assisted leg traction is a life saver! Looks like you are stuck in a Left AIC Pattern. Looks like your left ilium is possibly rotated anterior and your right shoulder is sitting low. A rotated iluim can cause or greatly exacerbate hip issues. For several months the hip seemed o.k., then I got lymes disease; fast forward two years; the lyme made me very ill, I was on antibiotics off and on for about two years, and I was left with a pain in my groin (which I though initially to be a hip flexor), I kept running through my pain, (as die-hard work-out-a-holics will do), but the pain got so bad that I was hobbling and walking through my runs. I realilzed at some point the running was crippling me, so I stopped; I was even walking with a limp. Then I bought a trainor for my road bicycle and started pedaling. I found I could do that relatively pain free and that I could actually work up a sweat. I have been pedaling every day for 45 minutes a day and I follow up with stretching exercises while my body is really warm. I have also been taking chondroitin and glucolsamine, and I find I can now walk without pain. Two weeks ago I even went on a 5 mile "slog" (slow jog; I hate to admit 11 minute mile average, but it felt great to experience a pain free range of motion albeit slow. I am going to continue on this regimen as it seems to be working. I should also add that I have incorporated some mild upper body weight lifting and inclined situps and leg lifts. If I can continue on this rate of improvement, I figure in another year I might be completely pain free. I think there is hope. -marianmariannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361162699865446776.post-45114582578486673922014-05-08T23:38:37.530-04:002014-05-08T23:38:37.530-04:00Thank you.
